ABOUT US

The Community Employment Alliance (CEA) is a statewide coalition committed to advancing Supported Employment and Community Inclusion services for individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to support our members in creating innovative, high-quality services that empower people with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of their communities.
Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we work to break down barriers, foster equity, and ensure meaningful opportunities for all. We strive to build a network of resilient organizations dedicated to integrated, community-based services for all people with disabilities in the state of Washington.

What We Do

Advocate: We champion public policies that expand employment opportunities and improve access to services for individuals with disabilities.
Educate: We equip our members with training, resources, and tools to excel in providing quality services.
Partner: We collaborate with self-advocates, family groups, state and county partners, schools, and businesses, as we work towards full lives for the people we serve.

At CEA, we believe in the power of collective action to drive lasting change. Together, we are creating a world where individuals with disabilities can pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully to society.

Vision: We envision...

People with disabilities in mainstream employment with the same access as all; enjoying true choice and economic equality – No more “special”, segregated, isolated or exploited people with disabilities.

Provider organizations that are stable, strongly connected, sustainable; with their energy focused on invention and innovation, with less reliance on public funds.

Individuals with disabilities pursuing dreams, accepted in society, living full lives – with the entire community benefiting and living more wholly.

Creating meaningful relationships with businesses; and becoming professional resources and consultants in the field of employment for people with disabilities
